Both Opti-Cide MAX and Opti-Cide³ are on the EPA's List N indicating they can be used against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19

• Opti-Cide MAX has a 1 Minute kill time for SARS-CoV-2 (the cause of COVID-19) on hard, non-porous surfaces.
• Opti-Cide³ has a 2 Minute kill time for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 virus) on hard, non-porous surfaces.

Performance against SARS-CoV-2 variants:

OptiCide³ and Opti-Cide Max are effective against SARS-CoV-2, and in accordance with EPA guidance, are expected to kill all strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Genetic mutations to the virus do not impact disinfectant efficacy. Opti-Cide³ and Opti-Cide Max work by inactivating the virus. The difficulty of killing the virus depends on its physical features, and recent mutations to SARS-CoV-2 have not changed the virus' basic physical properties.
